Group Visits
Each year, St. Thomas welcomes groups from high schools, charter schools and community-based organizations to our St. Paul campus. Group visits are available on select Tuesdays. The visit includes a 30-minute admissions presentation and an hour-long campus tour, followed by an optional lunch paid for by St. Thomas. For questions, please contact Kyle Thomas at kthomas@stthomas.edu.
Our Policies
We strive to accommodate as many high school group visits as possible. However, group visits cannot be scheduled during the following times:
- Admissions events or university breaks and holidays
- The week of midterms and finals
Please note the following guidelines for group visits:
- The admissions presentation includes information about both our 4-year program and the Dougherty Family College
- Group visit requests will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and we often reach capacity quickly.
- Groups may include a maximum number of 50 students, and must be in grades 10 - 12.
- We can accommodate only one group visit per week.
- A chaperone-to-student ratio of 1:10 is required. Chaperones are responsible for monitoring student behavior; improper conduct may result in loss of future visit privileges.
- If using vehicles other than a bus or public transportation, contact Kyle Thomas at ktthomas@stthomas.edu for further guidance.
- The University does not pay for group visit transportation.
