The Center for Well-Being is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. We are closed on St. Thomas holidays. Our Minneapolis (CAPS) location is also closed during summer session and term breaks.

Many services are currently available virtually via tele-health Zoom appointments. See individual service page for more information.

Crisis Support

CAPS offers Crisis Drop-In Hours, Monday-Friday 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the Center for Well-Being, St. Paul location for St. Thomas undergraduate and graduate students. No appointment necessary. Students should call 651-962-6750 or come into the Center for Well-Being for an in-person crisis session.

24/7 Phone Crisis Counseling is available to all students by calling 651-962-6750 and choose Option 4 to connect to a licensed mental health counselor. Students may also ask the CWB front desk staff to connect them to the 24/7 phone counselor. Phone counseling sessions focus on brief stabilization, coping and support.
